GUEST BLOGGER: You Want Me to What?

Boudoir sessions are often some of my favorite sessions to shoot, yet the least shared with the public due to their private nature. In order to spread the word and reassure women who might be considering their own session, I plan to feature guest bloggers from time to time. The image included in this guest blog has been preapproved for posting by the blogger herself. So without further ado.....here are the kind words of my guest blogger:
Nervousness, fear and throw in a little bit of awkwardness-that was about all I was feeling when I bared all for risque photos, a surprise for my always giving, never (ok, rarely) complaining husband who would lay down his life for me and our family. Now, add in Deb, the most laid back, at ease photographer I have ever come across. Either that or I was just hypersensitive to all emotions and personalities surrounding me while standing in front of a space heater in nothing but my unmentionables, but I'm pretty sure it's just who Deb is!
With just a few "relax!"es and a firm "loosen up" here or there, I was at ease (for the most part anyway) with just a few clicks of the camera. With each outfit change (and when I say outfit, I mean overly priced lingerie), the nerves tried to sneak their way back into the moment. Each little nerve sneak attack, however, was surmounted with Deb's reassurance and her fascinating photography skills. The pictures were more than I had expected (cliche, I know, but so true!).
I recently surprised my husband with the book of photos. He was floored by the beauty and class of the pictures, he smiled at the "silly" ones, and his mouth was caught agape at the rather seductive ones. Deb was truly able to capture a variety of moods and emotions and was miraculously able to use her laid back demeanor and camera lens to get past the nerves and straight to the sensuality, all without judgment.
Thanks for everything Deb! You truly made me feel comfortable, the pictures are wonderful, and my husband more than approves your work!
