After having to reschedule due to horrible weather, it was finally Michael's turn in front of my lens this past weekend. And well, yep...he rocked it! For some reason it cracks me up just a little when my reps step in front of the camera for the first time. I don't like to give a lot of direction since letting them be themselves kind of brings out their personality, and really that's how you leave a legacy. There are usually a couple forced smiles and fidgetiness (that's a word, right?) the first couple frames and then they realize 'hey, this isn't all that bad' and the rest is history.
Of course, I am not saying that I like seeing people uncomfortable. It is the transition from unsure to 'yeah, I'm a superstar' that I just love. The most amazing thing of all is that to an outsider, you would never know which portrait from the session was actually from the unsure stage of their session. This is especially true for Michael.
Oh yeah....those eyes! Mike's kind of a quiet guy. But those gorgeous eyes...they tell stories :)
Now, that we are nearing the end of this sneak peek I have to say that I am so thankful for some great Senior reps this year.
