Ok, so remember a couple posts back how I said I would blog EVERY DAY?! Well, yep I missed yesterday, so I will do my best to get two up here today:) And perhaps another step into a life Un-ordinary should be "rolling with the punches." It's okay if you forget a couple things here and there just as long as you don't forget them forever:)
Yesterday was quite a busy day for us here, but not in the no-play-all-work kind of busy (although DH did have a drill weekend, so he had to miss out on much of the fun). The morning was spent wrangling four kids and two extras out of bed, fed, dressed and plans were made for who was coming who was going and where they were all going. When we got our numbers organized, those still with me piled in the car to visit some of DH's side of the family for a Suprise Retirement/Birthday Party for Uncle Jay. Jay was definitely surprised to say the least, but the sweetest part of the day was listening to all the fun the cousins had playing together. And I say listening 'cause for the most part, they were all in separate areas of the house and we didn't see much of them, yet their shriek thrills of laughter spilled over the loft areas of JD & Kelly's gorgeous home and threatened to drown out any adult conversation. There is nothing better than the sound of a child's laughter and its abilities to bring you to the memories of your own childhood is simply amazing.

The feature image in this post is of Colby and his cousin, Zack. The photo was taken at a wedding last weekend, but the two of them continued to inseparable yesterday as well!
