COLBY: Take Two

So, yesterday morning was reserved for Colby's senior session.  And yes, this would be his second as his first was shot early season since he was my first senior rep of the year.  And yes, I am happy times a billion that this session was nowhere near as cold as our first! As for picking out a few faves for a blog sneak peek.....nope, not easy.

Colby is a real laid back kinda guy who has not once complained about anything I've asked him to do during a session.  So we started out at this really cool shabby barn and shot on almost every exterior wall, because every time you turned a corner there was something new.
One of the things I love most about Colby is his natural smile.  So photogenic without trying.  And are you kidding me with those eyes?

So on the same property that awesome barn sits on, there are these really funky trees.  I have no idea what kind of tree they are, but I just knew we had to play in there a little:)

Oh, and remember how I said Colby never complains?  Of course I was going to take advantage of that. This kid is soooo not country, but who can resist Colby of The Corn...

From the old barn, we traveled to our next location.  Another barn.  This time was inside where we found some AMAZING light.
Now, before I fill you in on where all that yummy light was coming from...how 'bout some feet.  You knew it was coming:)
Alright, alright...here's the secret to the light.  Colby is not afraid of heights, and I am always up for a challenge.  This barn had these built-in ladders positioned at a 180 degree angle.  Yes, straight up.  The ladders led to these great beams really high up.  How high?  Well, mom assisted in giving us a little perspective on the height.  See Colby's one toe in the upper right?  Yep. It was high.

Colby is a wide receiver for Winthrop High School's football team, so we knew we were going to represent.  But before leaving the barn, we experimented with some more great light on the first floor of the barn.

We finally made it to the football field and thought (at least I did) it would be fun to watch Colby in action:)

Thanks Colby for being such a great sport about everything.  You are a kind and dedicated soul and I know you will certainly go places in this world.  Have a great senior year!
